Famous Sharron & Samantha Hughes are Shazzam Kids!
Famous Sharron is very famous for nothing at all, and Samantha Hughes is an acclaimed writer, illustrator and storyteller.
They are an award winning duo and they create, make and illustrate their way into and out of some sticky icky situations with live shows, online entertainment and workshops for kids.
All Shazzam Kids shows use live illustrating and sound sampling from the children in the audience. They create characters and narrative to captivate the kids, with plenty asides for the parents to enjoy too. Shazzam can also customise packages to suit your booking.
With over 33 years experience working with kids events (between them) your performers are experienced, reliable and appropriate for all family events. Proof of Working With Children’s Checks and Public Liability are also available on request.

Famous Sharron is very famous for nothing at all. She’s won multiple awards, been on every TV channel in Australia, shared the newsdesk with James McHale on ABC; been featured on Destination WA, WA Weekender, Today Show, Sunrise and spotted in The West, TV Week
and Elle Magazine.
After exploding from the Perth suburbs, onto stages and screens across Australia, she’s a bubbly leopard-print-lover whose energy is infectious. She tours regularly to Port Hedland, Karratha, Geraldton and all the Hollywood locations. Shaz is the official Ambassador of
Event Cinemas, and a regular in the social pages, she’s fabulous funny and unforgettable.
Samantha runs Inkling Arts studio in Fremantle, above Paper Bird Book Shop. She runs workshops for kids, writes and illustrates in Fremantle; with two naughty cats as sidekicks.
Myths and fairytales fascinate her, and a touch of the fantastic can be found in most of her paintings. She has worked in communities across Western Australia engaging young people and teachers of all ages in storytelling, art and book making workshops.
